The goal of the Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia is to assist the community with animal related issues through prompt response time, education and enforcement of the Philadelphia code.
ACCT is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to receive stray and unwanted animals, investigate animal ordinance complaints and respond to animal emergencies. The shelter is located at 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19140
