Due to staffing shortages and a significant number of staff needing
to quarantine, ACCT Philly is making some significant and immediate operational shifts, and asking for the community’s help.
Effective immediately:
- ACCT Philly is closed to non-emergency intakes, both in shelter and in field. Generally, emergencies include sick and injured animals, dogs running at large, and pregnant cats.
- We continue to be open for adoptions and foster opportunities, and encourage the public to adopt or foster.
- We are remaining open to volunteers, rescue partners,
and adoptions, continuing to require everyone to be masked inside the building
and to socially distance.
With limited staff, reducing the number of animals in the building is critical, and you can help by adopting or fostering a pet in need. If you’re not in a position to adopt or foster, please consider making a donation, or purchasing an item from our wishlist.
